Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1031530A1] The pivot control rigging for a mobile crane boom (7) has a linkage (27) connecting the front and rear sections of the main boom, and the front and intermediate (13,14) sections of the boom tip, to allow simultaneous movement. A lifting cable (41) for the crane actuates the linkage. In the folded position at least one of the tip sections extends orthogonally to the main sections.
