Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1031663A2] The manhole cover has an adjusting device with lifting part, for height/inclination adjustment. The lifting part is (36) is a height-adjustable regulating screw. The cover may have several regulating screws at even relative distances, which are pref. located in a holder (33) formed by a bearing sleeve. The sleeve is fastened pref. welded to a support ring (30). The holder is located in the shaft (2) or in the cover. The screw supports itself with its head (39) on a supporting regulator ring (41). The cover has an associated sensor and a sensor locator, positioned on an uncovering device with tool.
