The building block comprises a mixture of wood chips (1) with a possibly zig-zag not very long shape produced without taking into account the fibre direction and mixed with a binder (2). which covers the entire outside surface of the individual wood chips. The wood chips are connected together by cohesion of the binder film (2) incorporating the air into the hollow interspace.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Leichtbaustein für den Hausbau welcher aus einem Gemisch von Holzhackschnitzeln (1) eventuell zackiger, nicht sehr langer Form, welche ohne Berücksichtigung der Faserrichtung hergestellt worden sind, vermengt mit einem Bindemittel (2, 4) welches die gesamte Außenfläche der einzelnen Hackschnitzel (1) bedeckt, mit oder ohne Lufteinschlüssen in den Zwischenräumen (3) zwischen den Hackschnitzeln, hergestellt ist. <IMAGE>
