Abstract (en)

Furniture (particularly tables) include first and second edges extending in side by side relationship adjacent one another, the edges including respective longitudinal slots or grooves. A securing element is received in a slot or groove of one of the edges and extends across the divide to be received in a slot or groove of the other adjacently extending edge so as to hold the edges.
