[origin: DE19753193A1] The line of tobacco is enclosed by a cigarette paper. A filter made of uncrimped cellulose felt is produced by an air-laid method and contains a filter-ventilation zone in its periphery. The filter possesses a condensate retention efficiency of 40 to 60 %. The ratio of nicotine to condensate of the tobacco is between 0.6 and 0.9. The apparent density of the tobacco mixture is between 200 and 250 milligrams per milliliter. The resistance to traction of the tobacco is between 45 and 65 WS, and the filter ventilation degree amounts to 15 to 50 %.
