[origin: DE19809862A1] The invention relates to a device for recirculating exhaust gases in an internal combustion engine. According to the invention, recirculated exhaust gas is fed into the intake port of the internal combustion engine. The feed point (3) contains a ring channel (9) which is situated on the intake port, is guided around the tubular intake port (1), and which has openings that lead into the intake pipe (1). The recirculated exhaust gas can flow through the openings in an essentially radial manner. Flow bodies (6), ring gaps (15; 16) or a perforated plate (12) which are/is arranged in the ring channel (9) permit the exhaust gas to flow into the fresh-air flow inside the intake pipe (1).
