[origin: WO9926065A1] beta <-> radiation emitted either by a reference sample containing a predetermined concentration of a selected compound having homeopathic and/or allopathic efficacy, or by a sample of fluid extracted from an unhealthy or healthy body, or by a mixture of a predetermined concentration of a selected compound having homeopathic and/or allopathic efficacy and fluid extracted from an unhealthy body, is measured using a counting means to obtain a spectrum. The counting means is in a predetermined orientation relative to the compound or fluid being measured. The resulting spectra are compared to assess ill-health and to select a homeopathic and/or allopathic medicinal composition for treating ill-health.
