Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1033245A1] The spray appliance has spray nozzles (40a, 40b, 40c) for applying jets of spray to the surface (62) of the printer's target element (60). Each spray nozzle goes through a cycle of pre-set frequency and phase-displacement. The individual phase displacements are synchronized so that the effective frequency of the spray-jets directed at the surface is greater than the pre-set frequency.
