[origin: FR2771283A1] Implant comprises a metal tibial base (2) and a polyethylene plate (1) with an aperture (1a) opening onto its posterior edge and having a shoulder (1a3) and a constriction (1a1) for engaging elastically with a bush (3) projecting from the base and equipped with a collar (3a). The shoulder zone is set at a height from the base of the plate (1) corresponding to the distance between the thrust surface of the base and the underside of the collar. The opening in the posterior edge of the plate leading to the aperture has convergent (d, e) and parallel (f, g) edges.
