Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9941055A1] A process for the production of rubber products comprises forming a moulding material from a first and second ingredient. The first ingredient comprises powdered rubber and the second ingredient comprises sulphur. The moulding material is compressed in a mould to form the rubber product. The moulding material may be compressed in the mould to a pressure of up to 6.8 tons per square inch and the temperature of the moulding may be elevated to be about 100 DEG C during compression.
