[origin: WO9927065A1] An aqueous, heavy duty gel laundry detergent composition comprising anionic surfactants, fatty acids, and specially selected structurants to provide exceptional cleaning benefits and phase stability. The structurant comprises sodium sulfate and optionally conventional detergent builders such as citrate. The anionic surfactants comprise linear alkyl benzene sulfonate, alkyl sulfates and alkyl ethoxylated sulfates.
