[origin: EP1034815A2] The standard room inside the fire-fighting vehicle for a standard C-hose reel has part (11) of the space for the high pressure water extinguisher (2) with the rest of the space (12) designed to take a modified C-hose reel which has a considerably shortened axial length and an enlarged diameter. The high pressure extinguisher has a water tank (21) with closable filler pipe (22) and outlet pipe (23) for connecting a high pressure hose and spray gun. A compressed gas container (24) can be connected to raise the pressure of the water tank.
