Abstract (en)
The method and appliance for exposing a workpiece to blasting media in solid aggregate form comprise at least one plant (1) . At least one gas jet (2) contains the blasting medium (3,4). One or more tubes (6,7) lead from the plant to a blasting member (5) from which the blasting medium is applied to the workpiece being treated. The blasting media include first media under normal conditions in gaseous or liquid aggregate form, and second media under normal conditions in solid aggregate form.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Bestrahlen eines Werkstücks mit Strahlmitteln (3, 4) in festem Aggregatzustand, wobei die Strahlmittel in einer Strahlanlage (1) in einen Gasstrom (2) eindosiert, mit dem Gasstrom zu einer Strahlvorrichtung (5) gefördert und auf das zu bearbeitende Werkstück gestrahlt werden. Erfindungsgemäß umfassen die Strahlmittel (3, 4) sowohl bei Normalbedingungen in gasförmigem oder flüssigem Aggregatzustand vorliegende erste Strahlmittel (3) als auch bei Normalbedingungen in festem Aggregatzustand vorliegende zweite Strahlmittel (4). Als erstes Strahlmittel (3) eignet sich Trockeneis (CO2), welches bei Normalbedingungen in gasförmigem Aggregatzustand vorliegt. Als bei Normalbedingungen in festem Aggregatzustand vorliegendes zweites Strahlmittel (4) kann beispielsweise Sand verwendet werden. <IMAGE>
