Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1035286A2] The safety lock has an engagement part (2) on the door and a socket part on the fixture. The engagement part has a spring-loaded swivel bolt (5) which engages by a head part (8) in a recess of the socket part (4) between a boundary wall (10) of the recess (9) fixed on the housing and a cam (12) swivel mounted in the socket and having diametrically opposite end sections of which the free end remote from the head of the bolt interacts with a bolt member (15) on the engagement part so that the latter for conscious unlocking presses on the free end of the cam whereby the end of the cam contacting the head of the bolt can swivel the head of the bolt into the unlocking position.
