The reflector has a reflection surface with facets for reflecting light beams and for generating a light field with a hollow base body with a first end for accommodating a light body and a second end with a light outlet opening. The shapes of individual facets and their positions wrt. the optical axis of the reflector are selected in a defined manner to produce a defined light field contour for a given shape of light body.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Reflektor mit einer Facetten aufweisenden Reflexionsfläche zum Reflektieren von Lichtstrahlen und zum Erzeugen eines Lichtfeldes; mit einem hohlen Grundkörper, der ein ein erstes Ende zum Aufnehmen eines Leuchtkörpers aufweist (Fassungsende) sowie ein zweites Ende, das eine Lichtaustrittsöffnung darstellt; zum Erzeugen einer bestimmten Lichtfeldkontur bei gegebener Gestalt des Leuchtkörpers sind die Formen einzelner Facetten und deren Lage relativ zur optischen Achse des Reflektors in bestimmter Weise ausgewählt. <IMAGE>
