[origin: WO9928044A1] The invention concerns an atomiser for fluids with the support of compressed gas. The atomiser is provided with cleaning systems for cleaning the fluid nozzles (13) and also the gas nozzle (2). The cleaning action is introduced by closing the gas supply and executed by springs (6). The atomiser is so organised that only fluid is forwarded after opening of the gas supply. The atomiser looses no droplets fluid at the start or ending of a period of atomising. A plunger activated by compressed gas positions the cleaning tube (20) into working position with thrustbars (24) after which the fluid supply is opened and then the triangular opening will be open. The atomiser is characterised in that both the fluid nozzle and the gas nozzle are rigid fixed in the atomiser and the cleaning elements are moving. The atomiser is very suitable for humidifying air in spaces, atomising suspensions like desinfectants and such.
