[origin: DE19748715A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a package unit of multi-layer plastic items produced from film, said items being attached to a support on one side and having almost the same outline, especially protective gloves arranged so that one is laid on top of the other. A line (6) of the support material and several lines (7, 8, 9, 10) of the film are supplied by transport devices and a welding process takes place in at least two welding stations (16, 17) situated one behind the other in the direction of movement (B) of the support line (6). The position of a plastic item produced in a first welding station (16) is determined in the following welding station (17) by the advance of the transport devices which are configured as feed rollers (18, 19). Said feed rollers (18, 19) are driven by servomotors (20, 21) which are controlled synchronously with a constant step width. The distance (A) of the welding stations (16, 17) from each other is an integral multiple of a current equidistant step width of the servomotors (20, 21). This enables e.g., a pair of gloves to be positioned perfectly on top of each other.
