Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19752538C1] The invention relates to a slag crusher comprising a shaft (2) which is guided through the pressure housing (1), funnel-shaped entry sheets (12, 15), fixed cutting blades (7) and cutting blades (4) which rotate on the shaft (2). The vertical middle axis (22) of the shaft (2) is arranged at a distance "a" such that it is eccentric or off-center in relation to the vertical axis (20) of the pressure housing (1) and so that the crushing area is concentrated in the middle of the slag crusher. The crusher shoulders for the rotating cutting blades (4) form the fixed cutting blades (7) when the crushed material is reduced in size. Said blades protrude through the entry sheets (12, 12a) and are provided with a wear-resistant deposit welding (11) in the crushing area. The rotating cutting blades (4) are arranged on the shaft periphery (2) in a known manner such that they are angularly displaced. As a result, only one respective rotating blade (4) and two fixed blades (7) are engaged during the crushing process and the additional blades (4) or blade pairs (7) are utilized subsequently.
