Abstract (en)
The ring has several cheek plates connected together by hinging pins and is closed using a shackle. The shackle is hinged about a coupling pin mounted in the end of a cheek plate. The right angle bend in the shackle effects the closure by partially wrapping round a pin mounted in the end of another cheek plate.

Der Verschluss weist ein Kupplungsorgan (3) auf, mit dem die einer Schliesstelle (4) benachbarten und jeweils einen Kupplungsbolzen (9, 10) für eine Schliesseinrichtung (25) aufweisenden Pressbackenelemente (5 bis 7) provisorisch verbindbar sind. Das Kupplungsorgan ist ein Bügel (3), der an seinem einen Ende schwenkbar am Kupplungsbolzen (9) des einen Pressbackenelementes (5) gelagert ist und der mit seinem anderen Ende (3a) mit dem anderen Pressbackenelement (7) verbindbar ist, derart, dass dieses andere Ende (3a) in der gekuppelten Stellung am anderen Pressbackenelement (7) verschieblich gelagert ist. <IMAGE>
