Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1036658A2] The method of damping a rotary flatbed printing form (1) involves a damping unit (7) belonging to a flatbed printing machine. A first damping applicator roller (4) is displaced by an adjustment in the form of an eccentric bearing from a position apart (4.1) to a position in contact with a connecting roller (3). The first damping roller (5) is driven by a rotary drive mechanism. A second damping roller (6) is solely in contact with the damp-application roller.
