Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1037178A2] Certificate is produced by a customer as a result of an online transaction, where a service is received in exchange for a service, ticket etc. To accelerate the process and obviate the need for a physical exchange of documents the customer has a complex operational certificate with physical and machine-readable combinations of electronic data. The customer can produce and or acquire a valid ticket etc. using the certificate. It is suitable for any sort of transaction where the customer receives a certificate that is then used to acquire a service e.g. train travel, entrance tickets, hotel bookings, etc
