Abstract (en)
The protective sleeve is fitted tightly on to the braided conductor against an inner core. The system for sealing the end of a flat connector (1), especially a tubular braid, comprises a sealing sleeve (6) surrounding the connector end. The sleeve is made from a cold-shrinkable material surrounding the connection, with a rigid core (4) having a convex outer surface threaded inside the end of the tubular flat braid. The braid is retained on the supporting core by the shrink action of the protective outer sleeve (6). The braid itself (3) may be covered by an insulating layer of material (2) which then lies between the braid and the shrink-fitting sleeve. The rigid core (4) may be at least partially hollow.

Dispositif d'étanchéité d'une connexion d'extrémité de conducteur plat 1, en particulier sous forme de tresse tubulaire, comprenant un manchon 6 d'étanchéité et de protection de la connexion en un matériau rétractable à froid venant enserrer la connexion, caractérisé par le fait qu'un noyau rigide 4 de surface extérieure convexe est enfilé à l'intérieur de l'extrémité de la tresse plate tubulaire 3a qui vient entourer ledit noyau 4, l'ensemble étant enserré par le manchon 6 d'étanchéité et de protection. <IMAGE>
