Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1037313A1] In order to establish a connection between a cable (6) and a printed circuit (8), a female connector is provided which has two inputs (2, 3) for accommodating the cable and the printed circuit (8) respectively. The cable is held firmly inside the first input by two stops (25, 26). One of these stops allows to establish the electric connection by locally displacing the insulation of the cable conductors (7) when coming in contact with contacts (11) comprised in the connector. The connector has an elastic lever for keeping the connector inside an aperture of a receptacle which contains a printed circuit. The second input surrounds the printed circuit. Contact tongues (16) also establish an electric connection with the metal plating (9) provided along the edge of the printed circuit. <IMAGE>
