[origin: WO9929373A1] Fire-fighting concentrate compositions contain fluorinated amine oxide surfactants as well as fluorine free surfactants. Fire-fighting premixes are also provided, as well as a method of fighting fires using the compositions and premixes. These compositions form foams that are effective fire-fighting agents, and in addition the fluorinated amine oxide surfactants adsorb well to dirt, sludge, and other substrates. This adsorption property allows the surfactant to be readily removed from the environment.
