[origin: WO9924363A1] Method and device for the production of high standard purity water, wherein water is circulated via crossflow filter units, continuously keeping the circuit at a temperature above 100 DEG C. Sterilization is thereby effective, and when proper filters are used, even water for injection may be produced. The product water, having passed the filter units, is led through heat exchangers, preheating the filtration circuit. As no water is vaporized during the process, energy is saved.
