[origin: WO0022211A1] The invention relates to a texturing machine for texturing a number of thermoplastic threads in a respective machining area. To this end, the threads are guided and transported in the machining area in by several supply mechanisms. One of said supply mechanisms is mounted on a moving slide. The slide is therefore guided on a guide rail and is moved between a mind position and an operating position by means of a linear drive. The slide is guided on the guide rail with a sliding element. Said sliding element is coupled with a drive by a cable, which runs along the guide rail, in order to transmit the force.
