Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19831859A1] Onto the guide cords (35), hose(s) connected to a source of reduced pressure are attached, running essentially parallel. The lacing strip or band (3) is deflected from its path to pass through the hose. Guide cord (35) and hose (45) are wound onto the drum (51) together. One or more bridge sections spiral around the outer casing of the drum. Preferred features: The bridge is machined into the drum casing, or fixed onto it. Hose is wound on, into the space between bridging sections. The hose is led parallel to spaced parallel guides, preferably cords, by fastenings (47). On the top or sides of the bridge, for each guide cord (35), a depressed channel is provided to accommodate it. The winding drum (51) can be displaced along its axis. It rotates, held on a slide block. To support the drum, at least three stationary centering rollers (84) are distributed around its circumference, running on the bridge winding, between windings and/or in locations where the hose is not wound. The implementation is further detailed.
