[origin: DE19755229A1] The invention relates to a method for continuos production of a low tension strip in the form of a laminated composite, consisting of at least one molten-blown, hydrophobic, plastic non-woven fabric and a reinforcement layer. Both layers are conveyed in the form of a strip in a laminating device and melted with each other by applying pressure and heat. The hydrophobic non-woven fabric is rendered water-tight but vapor permeable as a result of residual pore film. In order to improve production, the invention provides that both plies (19) are melted with each other in the laminating device in a gap (5) located between a rotating roller heated with a fluid and a follow-up strip (2) which is wound around said roller.
