Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2772066A1] The invention concerns a safety mechanism for a motorised device for opening and closing a vehicle sliding door, comprising a linear actuator (20, 30) whereof the mobile end is connected, directly, or via a connecting rod (50) with linear displacement, either to the door front edge, or to an internal arm of the door, or to a corresponding support sliding rail of the door. Said safety mechanism comprises a dynamometer (60) with a spring (64) prestressed at a threshold value and an elastic catch (40/42) intervening respectively in the driving force transmission path between the actuator mobile end (30) and the door, and a mechanism (72, 74, 82, 84) transforming a length variation of the dynamometer (60) caused by a load greater than the threshold value into displacement of a cam (84) arranged such that the displacement undoes the connection set up by the elastic catch (40/42) in the transmission path.
