Abstract (en)

A shoe sole (28) for a shoe including a midsole (127) and an outer sole (128). At least a portion of one side of the midsole (127) extends up the side of the shoe sole (28) such that the outer surface of that side portion extends above the lowest point of the inner surface (30) of the shoe sole (28). The portion of the side of the midsole (127) has a thickness (s) between the inner surface (30) and the outer midsole surface which is greater than the thickness between the midsole surfaces of a part of the middle portion of the midsole (127) located between the midsole sides, as viewed in a frontal plane when the shoe sole (28) is in an upright, unloaded condition. At least a portion of the lowermost part of the outer surface of at least one side of the midsole (127) is concavely rounded relative to an intended wearer's foot location inside the shoe, also as viewed in a frontal plane when the shoe sole (28) is in an upright, unloaded condition.
