Abstract (en)

The boot (1) has an upper which extends some way up the calf of the wearer's leg and may be padded inside. It is open at the front of the leg and the top of the foot, and the opening is closed by an elongated tongue (2). The tongue is free at the top and fits inside the upper with a wide area of overlap (19). It is fastened to the upper by a buckle (8) near the toe of the boot. A flexible band (7) at the lower end of the tongue passes through the buckle and is bent double and has enlarged ends which resist being pulled through the buckle.

L'invention concerne un article chaussant (1) qui s'ouvre par l'avant et qui comporte une languette de protection (2) du pied réglable en position par l'intermédiaire d'un système de fixation (4). Le système de fixation (4) est constitué d'une bande flexible (7) qui, munie de rubans tissés (5, 6) sur une face, est pliée sur elle-même par un bout libre (12) pour former une boucle (8) qui s'enroule sur un moyen d'accrochage (9) de la languette. L'invention permet l'amovibilité de la languette (2) ainsi que son réglage en continu longitudinalement à l'article chaussant (1) tout en garantissant la solidité de sa retenue sur l'extrémité antérieure (3) de ce dernier. <IMAGE>
