[origin: DE19908843A1] The device has a stop element and a stop body, one on the drawer side and one in the frame side. The stop body fits in the stop element in a stop position and can be pulled out of the stop position in one of two directions by overcoming a withdrawal resistance. The stop element has at least one latch element, which can be moved through the stop body by pushing into a stop position from a rest position in a latch position. The latch element increases the withdrawal resistance when the stop body is pulled out of the stop position in the withdrawal direction. An Independent claim is included for a guide for sliding drawers in two opposite directions from a chest of drawers.
