[origin: EP1038481A2] The plastic clothes hanger (10) has two vertical arms (11.1, 11.2) protruding from a center area (13) and a hook (12) at the top. Two clamps (15) to which the waist area of trousers or skirts can be fixed are positioned at the outer ends of the arms (11.1, 11.2). In a clothes factory with automatically working sorting machines the clamps get frequently hooked at each other, thereby sometimes blocking the whole transport system. Anti-catch shields (16) positioned at both sides of the upper area of each clamp and secured by springs (14) prevent other clothes hangers (10) from getting caught with their arms (11.1, 11.2) between the upper elements of the clamps (15).
