Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1038672A2] Individually supported spring fittings (2) mounted on the clamping shaft engage with the rear edge (18) of the printing plate (16), whilst allowing play (T). The front edge (17) of the flexible printing plate hooks into clamping channel (19) extending in the cylinder cross-section. The rear edge of the plate is fixed in place using at least one resilient fastener secured to a clamping shaft, individual fasteners being placed side by side. Independent claims are also included for (a) printing cylinders with plates mounted on them using this device, and (b) rotary printing machines containing these cylinders.
