Abstract (en)
The method involves using a marking element, especially a printing mechanism (34), to apply markings during short periods when the material (11) is stationary. Accurate positioning is controlled by a sensor, especially. a printed mark reader (37) that senses printed markers on the material strip. Slight positioning errors of the material strip with respect to the printer mechanism are compensated for by relative displacement, especially by moving the material along a path that compensates for the error. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for producing sections of tape for enclosing objects, especially for packaging, by separation from a material strip with separating blades.

Zum Anbringen von Markierungen, insbesondere einer Bedruckung, an einer Materialbahn (11) zum Herstellen von Zuschnitten (10) wird die Materialbahn (11) zeitweilig angehalten, so dass ein Druckwerk (34) die Markierung bzw. Bedruckung anbringen kann. Um zu gewährleisten, dass die Markierung jeweils exakt positioniert ist, wird die Relativstellung zwischen Materialbahn (11) und Druckwerk (34) durch einen dem Druckwerk (34) zugeordneten Druckmarkenleser (37) gesteuert. Bei Fehlstellungen wird die Materialbahn (11) zur Korrektur in Förderrichtung oder entgegengesetzt bewegt bis zum Erreichen der korrekten Relativstellung. <IMAGE>
