Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1039013A1] The support (1), designed to hold a component (30) in place in a structure (40), has two ends (5, 6) with trough-section recesses shaped to engage with opposite zones (7, 8) on either side of an aperture (2) in the structure, and a central portion with a hole to receive the component. The recesses in the support ends are of different depths, e.g. 13 and 5mm respectively, permitting a greater or lesser movement relative to the structure during fitting and ensuring that it is held in place in the aperture afterwards. The support is made in one piece from a substantially rigid material.
