Abstract (en)

The low-burning vapor barrier material (2) has a carrier (5) to support self-adhesive bitumen and/or polymer bitumen strips (1). The strips (1) are aligned at right angles or at a diagonal to the longitudinal line of the material (2). The strips (1) are continuous or are in lengths, with intermittent width changes, and are in straight lines or they can be laid in corrugated lines or curves or zigzags in a non-linear or non-straight configuration. The strips (1) are formed by separate polygonal sections (3) as rectangles, squares or rhomboids, or they can be rounded as circles or ellipses. The sections (3) are themselves in a strip format, with their longitudinal lines aligned in relation to the strips (1). The carrier (5) is of plastics and/or mineral material and/or metal, or it is of plastics with a metal coating. The mineral material can be glass fibers, and the metal can be an aluminum foil. The self-adhesive bitumen and/or polymer bitumen is cold or hot setting. The strip (1) material with the bitumen has a mean weight of 200-800 g/m<2>.
