Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a mobile unit for performing measurements on railway tracks, comprising a supporting structure (6) provided with rolling or travel means (7) for displacing the mobile unit along a railway track and measuring and checking instruments (4,5) for performing measurements and/or checks along railway line. The supporting structure (6) consists of a plurality of elements (10,11,19) which are removably connected together and can be associated with one another so as to allow conversion between a stowed-away condition (8) for easy transportation of the mobile unit (1) and an unfolded and fully extended condition (9) where the mobile unit (1) can be arranged on the railway track. <IMAGE>
