[origin: EP1039046A2] The wall holder for a cylindrical sanitary object has a base (14) with a locating surface (15) for fixture to a wall or similar, an accommodation (17) turned away from the locating surface and a holding part with an aperture in which the sanitary object fits. The holder has an extension insertable in the accommodation of the base and fixable there. The opening in the holding part is a blind hole or can be a through hole. Its axis runs vertically to the insertion direction of the accommodation of the base.
