Abstract (en)
The device (10) has a revolving cutter tool (22) which is mounted behind the shaping rollers (12) in the running direction of the plastically deformable strip (28) and which co-rotates with these rollers. The cutter tool has raised cutting elements (24) on its circumference to cut into the corrugated strips (28) at the peaks and re-shape the cut edges away from the cutting tool. Independent claim describes method of making strip by providing incisions (38) along the peaks of the strip and deflecting the cut edges outwards away from the strip.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (10) und ein abfall-minimierendes Verfahren zur Endlosherstellung eines gewellten, Lüftungsöffnungen (38) aufweisenden First- und Gratabdeckungsstreifens (30) aus einem Metallstreifen (28). Die Wellung wird mit zwei Formwalzen (12) hergestellt, die Wellenprofile (18) aufweisen, welche miteinander kämmen. Im Anschluß an die Formwalzen (12) durchläuft der Metallstreifen (28) eine Schneidwalze (22) mit Schneidzähnen (24) an ihrem Umfang, und eine Gegenwalze (16) die als Auflage beim Einschneiden des Metallstreifens (28) dient und die umlaufende Nuten (26) aufweist, in die die Schneidzähne (24) beim Einschneiden eingreifen. <IMAGE>
