The demolition machine (11, 12) is provided with a suction device (13, 14, 17, 18, 20, 21) for removing dust and/or fragments of the part (23) of the building being demolished. An Independent claim is also claimed for a building demolition method using this equipment, especially for demolition of concrete or brick walls and ceilings within an enclosed space.

Eine Vorrichtung (10) zum Abbrechen von Gebäudeteilen (23), insbesondere von Wänden und Decken aus Beton oder Mauerwerk, umfaßt ein Abbruchgerät (11), mittels dessen das abzubrechende Gebäudeteil (23) mechanisch in Bruchstücke zerlegbar ist. Um ein Gebäudeteil (23) in einfacher Weise schnell und kostengünstig abbrechen zu können, ist dem Abbruchgerät (11) eine Saugvorrichtung zugeordnet (13,14,17,18,20,21), mit der der bei der Zerlegung des Gebäudeteils (23) entstehende Staub und/oder die Bruchstücke des Gebäudeteils (23) aus dem Arbeitsbereich des Abbruchgerätes (11) absaugbar sind. <IMAGE>
