[origin: EP1039081A1] The bolt or rod (2) attached to the lock box (1) consists of a flat strap sliding on the bottom of a shallow U-shaped channel (26). A guide block (8) holds a closure strip (3) which spans the gap between the sides of the U-section and holds the flat strap in the U-section. The whole assembly has a very small thickness.
