The ledge has a support blade (17) to support the cooker hob (11) and a suspension section, projecting vertically upwards from the support blade. The suspension section suspends the ledge from the top of the kitchen worktop (1) into the edge area of a cut-out for the cooker hob. The suspension section is connected to the ledge by a bend point or breakage line. An Independent claim is included for a cooker hob having at least one installation ledge.

Bekannt ist eine Einbauleiste für Einbauleiste (15) für ein Kochfeld (9) für den flächenbündigen Einbau einer Kochfeldplatte (11) in einen Arbeitsplattenausschnitt (3), welche Einbauleiste einen Ablageabschnitt (17) zur Halterung des Kochfeldes bzw. der Kochplatte aufweist. Um den flächenbündigen Einbau mit möglichst einfachen Mitteln gewährleisten zu können, weist die Einbauleiste (15) zumindest einen von dem Ablageabschnitt (17) vertikal nach oben geeignet beabstandeten Einhängeabschnitt (21) zum hängenden Positionieren der Einbauleiste (15) relativ zur Oberseite der Arbeitsplatte (1) im Randbereich des Ausschnittes aufweist, welcher Einhängeabschnitt (21) mittels einer Biege- oder Sollbruchstelle (23) mit der Einbauleiste verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
