Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1039632A2] The noise absorber has two components of electrical noise damping material, esp. ferrite material, that enclose a cable (13) when joined together, a housing with two parts (16,17), each for holding one of the elements, a hole in both ends for the cable when assembled, and a fixing arrangement (30) for fixing the housing onto the cable. An Independent claim is also included for a method of mounting a noise absorber on an electric cable.
