[origin: WO9933721A1] An arrangement for displacing an object comprising a carriage (1) and an elongated element (14), the carriage being arranged in connection to the element in an active position for displacing the carriage in the longitudinal direction of the element, the carriage having at least one wheel (2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9) for contacting a first surface of the element, said wheel being arranged to contact the first surface when a load is applied to the carriage in a first direction and to roll on the first surface during displacement of the carriage, wherein at least one wheel (2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9) of the carriage is arranged to contact and during the displacement to roll on a second surface of the element, which is separate from the first surface, when a load is applied to the carriage in a second direction opposite the first load direction.
