[origin: DE19755657A1] The invention relates to a system for vertically linking at least two valve modules. Said system comprises a series plate (1) on which the valve modules (2) are arranged side by side and which connects the valve modules hydraulically, and a connecting plate (5) which provides the electrical connection with the electromagnets of the valve modules. The valve modules are preferably provided with terminal sections (3) which provide the electrical connection with the connecting plate (5). Height adapters (4) for compensating differences in height between the valve modules (2) are located between the terminal sections (3) and the connecting plate (5). These height adapters enable the series plate (1) and the connecting plate (5) to be arranged in parallel. The valve modules (2) and the connecting plate (5) are electrically interconnected in the terminal section (3) and in the height adapter (4) by plug-in elements in an electroconductive channel. The connecting plate (5) can be connected to an external control device by a switching amplifier (7) and a control and connecting device (8).
