[origin: WO0027011A1] A device for controlling the electric supply to objects comprises at least one detector (2), an electric control arrangement (3) and a breaker arrangement (4) controlled thereof. The device comprises at least two sets (13, 14) of electric supply outputs, to which the objects are connectable. The breaker arrangement (4) comprises an electric switch for each of the sets (13, 14), respectively. The control arrangement (3) is arranged to, at a state of overheating of at least a certain magnitude, first break the electric supply to a first one (13) of the sets by means of the electric switch (15) belonging thereto, thereafter, by means of the detector (2), determine to what extent the interruption of the electric supply to this set causes a reduction of said magnitude and break the electric supply to the second set (14) only if said magnitude has not been reduced by the interruption of the electric supply to the first set (13).
