A squeeze operating lever is pressed down onto the handle to open the supply of pressurized extinguishing medium. A spring-o signal plate (7) is fitted close to the connecting point (4) of the operating lever (2) and can be biased by a contact part (8) supported fixed on the apparatus so that when the lever is pressed down the signal plate (7) is pressed out of its holder to sho the apparatus has now been used.

Eine solche Vorrichtung hat am Kopf des Feuerlöschers einen in der Gebrauchslage etwa horizontal abstehenden Griffschenkel (1) und darüber einen benachbart dessen Innenende gelagerten Betätigungshebel (2), der in seiner Ausgangslage unter einem spitzen Winkel zum Griffschenkel (1) steht und zu diesem hin zwecks Öffnung des das Löschmittel freigebenden Ventils niederdrückbar ist. Um mittels eines heraussprengbaren Signalplättchens die vorgenommene Ingebrauchnahme des Löschers anzuzeigen, ist nahe der Anlenkstelle (4) am Betätigungshebel (2) ein solches Signalplättchen (7) angeordnet, das mittels eines im Abstand von der Anlenkstelle (4) des Betätigungshebels (2) gerätefest abgestützten Auflaufteils (8) beaufschlagbar ist, welches beim Niederdrücken des Betätigungshebels (2) das Signalplättchen (7) herausdrückt. <IMAGE>
