At least one control valve (38, 38') which can be actuated according to the position of the piston rod (6) contains a control element. Said control element controls the fluid connection between two fluid chambers (46, 47) by interacting with a sealing area (43, 43') fixed to the housing. The control element is directly formed by the piston rod (6) which is correspondingly contoured on the outer periphery.
