Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9934120A1] Device for the anchorage of an axle (1) at each of its ends, preferably in a pair of fixing lugs (2) or the like formed with through holes for the axle. The device is characterised in that at each end of the axle there is a guide bevel (1a) and at least one plane chamfer (3). The chamfers (3) form an angle with the longitudinal axis of the axle and are connected to the outer surface of the axle, leaving a cylindrical axle section between the plane chamfers. The device at each plane chamfer (3) comprises a body (4), with a form corresponding to the plane chamfered part of each axle end, together with a section, extended axially adjacent to the guide bevel at each axle end and having a segmental-shaped end (4a), which along its curve has a flange (4b), directed radially outwards past the periphery of the axle. The bodies are designed to act as wedges with points directed towards the cylindrical centre section. By means of screw elements (5, 6) a movement can be imparted to each body (4) in an axial direction towards the cylindrical section, thereby producing an anchorage of the axle (1) in each hole.
